DR. RAÚL VALLEJOS BAIER

Postdoctoral Researcher at the Bioengineering Center of the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Viña del Mar Campus.
PhD in Biology from the University of Sussex, UK. His lines of research are the manufacture of three-dimensional porous scaffolds (3D-scaffolds) by 3D printing, and their combination with adult stem cells for the regeneration of hard tissues. In his research he collaborates with academics from Chilean and foreign universities. He has scientific publications on the characterization of biomaterials and three-dimensional porous scaffolds for bone regeneration. In addition, he works as a professor of Bioengineering courses and is a scientific divulgation writer.
